Cross Country

- Monday August 26th.
- All 7th and 8th grade boys and girls are welcome to participate. 
- Practices are: 3:15-4:30 pm.
- You MUST have a complete Athletic Clearance Packet on file before you begin practicing.

- Change into comfortable running clothes and running shoes right after school.
- Meet in front of the North Gym.
- Bring water and a great attitude!
- Be prepared to run!

Coach Byerly is having an informational meeting for students this coming Wednesday August 22 at 3:18 (that’s when teachers get out of meetings on Wednesdays and Fridays.)  Our first day of conditioning begins on Thursday August 23 at 3:18.  We meet in front of the North (small) Gym and then proceed to the track.  Runners need to be dressed in running gear and shoes and ready to go when I get to the Gym.  Runners should be hydrated and have a full bottle of water for practice.  The first week we will have 1 hour 15 minute sessions.  These will increase to 1 and a half hours to 2 hours in the following weeks.  We will have a parent meeting on Tuesday, August 28 at 4:30 in the North Gym to give information, answer questions and give out tentative schedules.
