Quarter 1 Add, subtract, multiply, and divide integers. Add, subtract, multiply, and divide integers.   Construct and solve a real-world equation or inequality. Accurately place real numbers of any form on an open number line.
Quarter 2
Construct a real-world rational equation or inequality with variables on both sides and solve a solution (set). Apply and extend previous understandings of operations with rational numbers to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Construct a real-world non-proportional relationship, identify slope and y-intercept given any form of an equation, and graph it. Identify slope and y-intercept given the slope-intercept form an equation and graph it.
Quarter 3 Construct a real-world non-proportional relationships, identifying slope and y-intercept given the slope-intercept form of an equation, and graph it. Construct a real-world rational equation or inequality - with a variable on one side - and solve for a solution (set) Analyze and interpret exponential models, including growth and decay. Solve a system of equations by substitution.
Quarter 4 Represent and perform transformations of congruent figures on a Cartesian plane. Find the surface area (as the sum of the composite figure represented by the net) and volume (as the product of base area and height) of a right rectangular prism. Determine whether two figures are congruent, and prove using rigid transformations. Apply the Pythagorean Theorem in a real-life problem.
